Celebrating Easter At Our Beach House

Camping on Cayman’s beautiful beaches during the Easter break is a long-standing tradition. Hundreds of families flock to the coastline for the Easter weekend, bringing with them camping equipment and provisions to last them for days. It is one of the only times during the year when loved ones can gather and spend quality time together in a natural setting without the distractions of daily life.

Days and nights are often spent barbequing on the beach, playing games along the shoreline and reminiscing about good times. At our Beach House, we love this time of year because it brings friends and family together to reconnect and make lasting memories.

We have a number of fun activities organized for the Easter weekend that embraces this wonderful Caymanian tradition. On Saturday, 26 March we will be hosting our hugely popular Stargazing event. Led by our Star Guide Kathryn, discover and identify constellations such as Orion the Hunter and the Summer Triangle (just to name a few!) in the Caribbean sky. Exploring the night sky is an interactive activity for kids of all ages and it is such a memorable way to spend time together as a family.

On Easter Sunday, we will kick off the evening festivities on our beach with a bonfire and complimentary S’mores from 7pm. And at 9pm we will be sharing with our guests one of our favorite rituals – our signature Sky Lantern Ceremony. On Monday, we conclude the long weekend with a family movie screening under the stars with fresh popcorn.

Enjoy the beach this Easter weekend and take part in some of our nightly activities at our Beach House!
