Here at our Beach House, we like to think of our feature bar in Anchor & Den as a focal point of our Great Room. A gathering place to reunite, reconnect and relax – it is versatile space where guests can grab a bite, cozy up to a book, magazine or an iPad or catch up with family and friends over something to drink. And our Food & Beverage offering isn’t too shabby either!
In the morning, Anchor & Den features our fresh juice bar where Beth whips up some delicious juice combinations. Ask what her recommendation is for the day – it is such a healthy way to kick start a morning in paradise. We also offer a convenient Grab & Go breakfast selection that includes fresh homemade pastries from our very own Pastry Chef Lauren. The Dulce de Leche brioche buns are to die for!
Tip: Throughout the day, Anchor & Den offers delicious sweet and savoury crepes. It is a great option for lunch! With tempting flavours like Georgia Peach & White Chocolate Chantilly or Pork Belly & Kimchee – it is hard to know whether you are in a sweet or savoury mood.
Evenings are a time when our bar is in full swing. Usually buzzing with energy, it is hot spot for guests to indulge in our Raw Bar and try one (or many) of our handcrafted cocktails or tasty sodas. We have a number of specialty gin & tonic concoctions such as Gin & Flowers and Candy Blueberry G & T. Some of our creative cocktails include a Basil & Honey Daiquiri and a Watermelon Mint Julep – it is difficult to decide what to drink first!
We like to make our very own potions infused with fruit, spices, herbs and flowers (we call it our Apothecary!) for our handcrafted cocktails and homemade sodas. We use wonderful flavours like cayenne pepper, candy blueberry and jalapeño mango to create infused waters and syrups that become the unique foundation to all our cocktails and sodas.
On Friday nights we also have our resident DJ Nuny Love spinning summertime tunes for our guests. It is a lively atmosphere and a cool way to end and a hot day on the beach.
Sounds tempting. So when are you meeting us at the bar?
