THE APOTHECARY HAPPY HOUR AT OUR BEACH HOUSE

At our Beach House, we were romanced by the concept of an Apothecary. Traditionally a place that sold elixirs and potions – we thought it would be the perfect inspiration for our Friday Happy Hour at Anchor & Den.
 
Born out of our love for herbs and spices, these magical ingredients are the foundation for all our handcrafted holistic cocktails and drinks. Our talented mixologists use homemade syrups, infused waters and dehydrated fruits to create their unique botanical blends. We consider our bartenders to be innovators and we encourage them to explore their creativity, from experimenting with basil-infused ice cubes to smoking liquors.
 
The Anchor Bar is fast becoming a favourite spot amongst residents and visitors of our Beach House to gather and reconnect. Here guests have the perfect view of our Botanical Station, which showcases the ingredients that have inspired our beverage creations that week. The herbal infusions that we offer during our Apothecary Happy Hour change every Friday, so no two weeks are the same.
 
We love old vintage classic drinks so we use them as a base for many of our creations, but we also like to add our own unique twist. Two of our most popular infusions are the Lavender Lemonade (Lavender infused / Fresh lemon juice / Vodka) and the Old Fashionista (Bacon-infused Bourbon / Orange peel / Maraschino Cherry). Our Gin & Tonic menu is also a crowd pleaser and features creative combinations such as Gin & Flowers and Candy Blueberry G&T.
 
But besides our concoctions, people are drawn to the intimate atmosphere of our bar. Surrounded by beautiful and modern décor, it also exudes a casual and welcoming vibe. Plus it is the perfect place to watch our skillful mixologists work their magic. On Fridays we also have our resident DJ spinning summertime tunes, helping guests relax and get into the mood for the weekend.
