The Movement Project 2021: Letting Life Flow

For The Movement Project 2021: A Year To Pay Tribute To The Journey, we are surrendering to the movement that is happening inside each and every one of us. So much of the world as we know it has changed and we acknowledge that something within us has inevitably shifted too. We are honoring this movement by accepting all the hard lessons that we have learnt. Although difficult, we know deep down inside that these challenges have led us to be stronger, more resilient and empowered versions of ourselves.

As with any story, we believe that every chapter contributes to the bigger outcome. You are the narrator of your life, writing your own chapters every single day. You are also deciding how you will influence your life and live it authentically.

Many ancient cultures believe that the world is composed of four basic elements – Air, Earth, Fire and Water. These are considered the critical energy forces that sustain life. All of these natural elements are integral parts of matter or the physical universe and the human body is a physical creation existing in the material realm. Therefore, human beings can be seen to be made of and governed by the four classical elements. Maintaining a balance between these elements ensures physical as well as emotional wellbeing.

One of the elements that we will be embracing as part of The Movement Project 2021 is Water. Water is accorded to cleansing power. It is symbolic of dreaming, healing, flowing, fluidity, purification, regeneration, stability, strength, change, fertility, devotion, receiving and unconditional love. It also symbolizes rebirth and is life-giving.

At our Beach House, we believe that these elements of alchemy exist in all of us and their unique combinations determine our distinct personalities. These elements represent energy and symbolize different facets of human life. They are also instrumental in building and preserving intrinsic movement and emotional fluidity within. Consequently, by connecting with them and understanding their presence in us, we become aware of our connection to this Universe.

So ask yourself: What in your life right now keeps you afloat?
